Depending on our clients’ needs we offer two different levels of service – a self-service facility that is accessible to our clients 24/7 and a full-service, fully staffed facility in which we handle client’s IT needs. In addition to Data Center operations, DRS has over 30 professional services engineers certified in high-end technologies such as Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, VMware and EMC solutions. When a company moves their servers and IT equipment into our Data Center, they can choose to utilize our expert resources as needed. Utility grid power is backed up by diesel generators which can operate for days without refueling. Cooling and Fire Suppression: All cooling and humidity control is provided by Liebert units. • Fire Suppression:Fire suppression is provided using a combination of gas and zoned dry sprinkler fire suppression. • Security: DRS employs SAS 70 Type II Internal Control Standards. SAS 70 is an auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Type II audit not only includes the description of controls, but also the detailed testing of controls. To achieve SAS 70 Type II, DRS facility operations are thoroughly scrutinized and evaluated annually with results reported and published. In addition, DRS employs various physical security measures including surveillance, biometric access controls and intelligent alarm controllers.
